in response to reader comment: Islam in Netherland cities

Submitted by the Grand Infidel of Kaffiristan (Australia), Jan 25, 2010 at 20:32

Mr Soetero writes:

"If we look at the percentage of muslim in Netherland cities, that is:Amsterdam 24 %, The Hague 14.2 %, Utrecht 13.2 %, Rotterdam 13 %, we can take conclusion that Islam is welcoming to Holland, and become part of Dutch societies"

This is a very good example of Muslms misunderstanding the generosity and perhaps even naievety of the Dutch. The naievity being the expectation of the Dutch that muslms would appreciate the tolerance and forbearance that their hosts had shown them. And the expectation that they would not form enclaves and integrate well into Dutch culture.

Quite clearly the Dutch got it wrong. They made a huge mistake and are now reaping the rewards of the policies of leftwing politicians in the 60 and 70's - poiticians who now survive on fat pensions. And who must silently admit to themselves the idiocy of their actions.

It is also a very good example of the misunderstanding by muslims that there is no limit to Dutch tolerance.

And it is clear proof of the axiom that the level of goodwill shown by Muslms to non-Muslms in any society is inversely proportional to the number of muslims.
