Respect for religion?

Reader comment on item: Why I Stand with Geert Wilders

Religion is anti-reason, anti-mind and anti-human life. As such it deserves condemnation not respect. Every individual has the right to think for himself and decide for himself and direct his own actions according to his own independent thinking with one restriction. No man may inititate the use of physicial force against another man. Every man is properly left free to be religious if he chooses and he will experience the destructive consequences of his error. Every person who wields the sword, the whip, the fist, the gun or the threat of force to impose his religious views on others is evil and to be treated as such. America is the only nation in the world in which it is safe to be religious because of its defense of the principle of the individuals right to his own lif and the freedom to live it. History demonstrates the evil of religion.
