We Need People with Courage and Convication to Speak Out

Reader comment on item: Why I Stand with Geert Wilders

Unlike Mr Pipes, I don't respect Islam or any other religion, but I do respect a person's right to practise whatever religious beliefs they have. Having said that, I would prefer muslims to practise Islam in their own country, or another Islamic country and not mine (Australia). In Australia, with a very small muslim population, we have begun to have problems with our muslim population. Given that the numbers increase weekly, there's every reason to believe the problems will escalate and eventually lead to bloodshed. I predict that in 30-40 years there will be a break-away Islamic Republic carved out of Australian territory if we don't act to prevent it.

The plain fact is that Islam and our fading, but still relevant, Christian culture are so incompatible that muslim immigrants cannot integrate into our community. Unfortunately, our government is spineless and won't curb muslim immigration, which would be the sensible thing. Why import problems we don't want and don't need? Every thinking Australian should canvass their Members of Parliament to amend our self destructive non-discriminatory immigration policy to ban muslim immigration. If we don't, in the next few decades we'll pay a heavy price. We need more politicians in Australia with balls like Mr Wilders..
