Obama's insight

Reader comment on item: Barack Obama's Muslim Childhood

Submitted by Debby Manry (United States), Nov 9, 2008 at 10:41

Actually, I'm glad that our new president has insight into the Muslem world. He will be better equipped to deal with problems in the Middle East. He has an insight into that religion/culture/way of life. Most Americans do not understand these things. As human beings on the same planet, we should respect the differences of different cultures. I believe Barack Obama is the best choice to represent America's diversity. He has had the privilege of being exposed to many different cultures. Education is the key to understanding, which then leads to peace. We will get there eventually!!
