Lies beget lies - Obama's now using the Holocaust - sickening

Reader comment on item: Barack Obama's Muslim Childhood

It's not just what Obama denies about his past; it's how he tries to use his own personal "past" to promote his agenda - sickening.

Obama is now using the Holocaust to support his ideas of the need for healthcare - to hell with eradicating future Hitlers of the world. Deal with them later.

According to Obama, his uncle helped liberate Auschwitz - how admirable - but no, it was not the Americans that liberated Auschwitz - it was the Soiet Union's Red Army - oops - so then, I guess, it was Obama's "great uncle", rather; and, a place called Buchenwald.

But why should Obama be concerned with details?

Did Obama bring this up as something he plans to discuss during his "talks" over tea with Ahmadinejad?

No.

Did Obama bring this up to emphasize the absolute horror experienced by Jews during the Holocaust?

No.

Did Obama say something like, "My [great] uncle's service, and that of all of our military, should never be taken for granted; and, so long as America stands, there will never be another Holocaust."

No.

Obama, in all his charm, uses the Holocaust - THE HOLOCAUST - to support HIS OWN VIEWS ON HEALTH CARE -

"I had an uncle who was one of the, who was part of the first American troops to go into Auschwitz and liberate the concentration camps; and the story in my family is that when he came home, he just went into the attic, and he didn't leave the house for six months. Alright? Now, obviously something had affected him deeply, BUT AT THE TIME, THERE JUST WEREN'T THE KINDS OF FACILITIES TO HELP SOMEBODY WORK THROUGH THAT KIND OF PAIN."

Poor, poor, Obama's "great uncle" and his being "in the attic" for six months.

Obama had THE NERVE to illustrate his uncle/great uncle and his "attic" - by way of THE HOLOCAUST.

"What man could speak about the horrors of Auschwitz, and somehow make it not about the millions of Jews that suffered and died in the death camps, but instead about how terribly hard it was for his uncle to deal with it, and how it showed that we needed a better mental health care. That takes the "it's all about me" candidacy to a new low - even the Jewish slaughter takes a back seat to how it effected Obama's family". - posted by "Charles", direct above link

What man could, indeed.
