Obama Great--Response to Thomas Aquinas

Reader comment on item: Barack Obama's Muslim Childhood
in response to reader comment: obama great

I would like to say I hope President Obama really cares about all people. I do not care that he is half black. I was concerned about his ties to Radical Islam, not Islam. I really hope he can get things on track for this country, and be a uniter.

There are many people under the misconception that we hate him. We do not hate him, and if he would have just stated he was born musim and converted to Christianity, it would have put some of these concerns to rest. Why can't people just be up front about things. Just because people are muslims, doesn't mean they are radical. Most people understand this.

I have talked to circles of friends who say they are praying for him, his safety, and that he can help the economy, and talk sense to people who do not like the USA. This is not an evil country. There are more hard working, honest, Americans than in any other country. It makes me so mad to hear that we are not fair. We are all willing to give the new guy support, until he proves us wrong.

Thanks, Debbie
