Well, this is quite a switch. You started out making a big deal about facts. Now you seem to have reached the conclusion that because 9/11 happened, facts don't matter any more.

Yes, after 9/11 people came to believe all kinds of things about Muslims. Why not try to distinguish the true things from the false ones, believe the true and reject the false?

In any case, whatever people believe about Muslims, Barack Obama isn't one, and never was one. So why confuse the issue by linking him to Islam?

I don't buy the claim that our attitudes are "innate." They're learned, and we can change them when they need to be changed ("Yes, We Can!").
