Hello,

Thank you for your reply! I very much enjoy reading your posts; you articulate your points very well. I respect your opinions, and I'm thankful you took my post in good spirit!

I very much agree that there is (and should be) a line between what is questioned publically - and privately.

"I draw a line between what I might question publically and question personnaly and privately. For the public side, I'd require some tangible evidence, while the private side requirements are broader."

Very well said. But Islam, I believe, as a possible part of the equasion, trumps "privacy" here.

It is not Obama's Christianity, per say, that I am concerned about - he could have converted to Buddism, Hinduism, Taoism, it would not make a difference - it is, rather, his past association with Islam, and his choice of "religious faith" and his selection of a "spiritual advisor" as an adult, that concerns me; this does not seem to show him far removed from Islamic influence or sympathies.

In addition, his views on the Palestinian cause, advocation of "talks" with Hamas and Ahmadinijad - his recent apologetic-steeped analogy, the "size" of Russia (Cold War) compared with Iran's "much smaller country" (and therefore not as much of a threat) - can we really afford Obama "broader requirements" regarding his "private side", if, indeed, those views are favorable towards Islam?

This country is at war with ideological Islam. To put a man in the office of the Presidency without being sure he is not in sympathy with the enemy is lunacy. To put a man in the office of the Presidency who is not sure if he is in sympathy is INSANE.

This is a point that I very much hope John McCain grills Obama on.
