Umm Sultan, may I ask you a few simple questions?

1. How can someone be a Muslim if he doesn't believe the shehadeh?

2. How can a newborn believe the shehadeh if doesn't have the capacity to form beliefs?

Actually, what any sensible person knows is that no one is a Muslim unless he believes the shehadeh, and no one can believe the shehadeh at birth. Therefore no one is "born a Muslim."

Let me offer some reciprocal advice: If Muslims know what is good for them, they should cultivate better relations with the laws of logic. Then they can figure out why their countries are disaster areas, why the world lives in fear of their irrationality, and why a "war on terrorism" has become a necessity.
