Fear Tactics

I do not understand the reason people have such a strong desire to paint Obama as something he is not. The only motive is to scare people into being afraid to vote for him - memories of 9/11

While Muslims may believe Obama was "born" a Muslim because his father had been a Muslim before rejecting it , Obama was born in the United States of America where no one is "born" a specific religion. In the United States of America people are allowed to choose whether to have a religion.

Freedom of religion is a founding principle of our country.

Attending a religious service/event does not make a person a specific religion. I grew-up in a Baptist church. I decided by myself to take the action of being saved (Baptized). Even if my parents made me go and made me get baptized, it would not mean I was a practicing Christian.

While I was growing-up, I attended Catholic churches with friends on several occasions. I had no idea what they were doing. I went because my friends were going.

Obama went an unknown number of times went because his family (step-father) went. There is no record of Obama's mother ever attending with Obama or his step-father.

By time Obama's half-sister, Maya Soetoro-Ng was old enough to remember, Obama was living in Hawaii with his grandparents.
