Barack Obama "morisco"

Reader comment on item: Barack Obama's Muslim Childhood
in response to reader comment: He is a Morisco

Submitted by Olivia (Austria), Sep 29, 2008 at 16:14

So now Barack Obama is a Spanish citizen converted to Islam in the period of the Islamic empire in Spain, al-Andalus, in medieval times?
It gets weirder and weirder..

Seriously, this man was born to an American mother.
He spent the largest part of his life in the US - he has no accent - he's had a splendid career proving his intellect.
The speculations here seem so senseless to anyone using his or her respective one.
