Your situation intrigues me, for as I thought I was the first of my family that shed the religious trappings of my Anglican background, I found that my brother made his departure long before I did, declaring his atheism to me when a youth; now he is an agnostic. I do not know nor understand this change.

My change came in spite of all that I was taught in my youth, being an adult when saved by the power and the blood of Jesus Christ's love. I have been His to commmand since, even in my obstinance and pride. That does not change the truth, that every one will come to terms with their relationship with Jesus Christ, whether voluntarily or not. This I did not learn in High School, it being a Catholic institution, they not getting it (my salvation) done for me either.

As a disciple of Jesus Christ and not desiring the lessening of the Word that Jesus spoke, I know from Scripture and the experience of unbelief of others inside mainstream faux christianity that the time is fast approaching (indeed, already here-look at California's snub of the Holy Bible in allowing same sex marital unions)where sound Biblical instruction is dismissed for religiosity, such as is rampant in the Anglican (or even the Baptist) assembly.

In the final analysis, what one chooses for eternal destiny is going to be the first thing looked at when each of us faces Jesus Christ in His position of final authority. From Jesus Chirst's own words, belief in Him and His relationship with the believer will be the deciding factor, and not what group or clique we were in when we were young. For this believer, I am counting on Jesus Christ to be true to His WORD in the Holy Bible, for that is His promise through His Holy Spirit.
