I will presume that your inquiry is genuine on the surface, that unlike the other exchanges, which are intended to debate that which others do not want to believe, yours requires clarification.

The Holy Bible, comprised of the Jewish Law (Torah), the Prophets (Neviim) the Writings-Psalms, Proverbs, Ecclesiastes, etc., (Ketuvim) and the Testament of Jesus Christ are a revelation of Almighty God to the world and humanity of the history of the world and the things mankind must go through to come to a reconciliation with Almighty God. In the Holy Bible things are written about what we see today in the Middle East that, while they were written thousands of year ago, their fulfillment is happening before our eyes.

Not to make this too complicated we shall deal with the position of Israel and the threat they are facing, which will involve the United States and allies since their declaration to defend Israel in the event of an all out attack. It does not take a Biblical scholar to realize that the immediate threat to Israel comes from Iran.

Commencing in the Prophet Zephaniah, we read Gaza was cut loose by Israel to provide a gesture of intent to the two state ‘Road Map to Peace' being proffered by the United States. Since that time, Hamas, a military arm to the Iranian apparatchik in Israel has done everything in their power to keep Israel on edge, arming and re-arming, sending missiles into southern Israel as part of the overall plan.

Lebanon was infiltrated and politically seized by Hizbollah, another Iranian military governed presence, who precipitated the so-called 2nd Lebanese War by invading Israeli positions and capturing Israeli soldiers as hostages. This provoked the Israeli Defense Force to enter Lebanon for the dual purposes of retrieving (if they could) the captive soldiers and limiting Hizbollah's ability to harm Israel from across the Lebanese again. They failed, because the Hizbollah were able to portray the Israeli's as an aggressor and gained the antipathies of the United Nations against Israel, even to the deployment of U. N. forces separating Israel from Hizbollah. They have been politicking and re-arming ever since, waiting for the next move as required by Iran.

The Iranian government, under the control of the Islamic Revolution, has declared nuclear intentions, principally to become the major power in the Middle East, and are willing to make the rest of the world pay for their ambitions. Israel, recognizing that they are the principal target of Iran's ambition as declared publicly by the Iranian president many times and as he has inferred he is instructed to do for his religious purposes, have said they will not wait for Iran to complete their ambitions and will strike.

This will result in the complicated result of the world intervening, the principal players being those named in the Bible as armies from the north (European), Middle East and Africa. With the recent news that Iran has upped the circumstances by giving new targeting commands to their ballistic missile complex, we can only wonder how much the Israeli's can really wait.

For those who believe and have faith in Jesus Christ, the preparations are unmistakably Biblical. From Zephaniah we can move to the Prophet Zechariah to fill in some of the activities outlined in Ezekiel. It is all happening as this is being written.

If one desires to avoid being caught unawares about all of this, then believing and accepting Jesus Christ into one's heart will be the necessary preparation to do so. Otherwise, it will be very hard, virtually impossible, to believe what is about to happen next.
