NO CAMPAIGN RESPITE FOR IRAN

If Obama was serious in telling AIPAC that he will do everyithng in his power to prevent Iran from acquiring nuclear weapons, he should join with McCain --and then with the Bush Administration--to declare as follows:

1. The EU and UN should quickly impose meaningful sancxtions, including banning gasoline imports to Iran and prohibiting dealing with Iran's Central Bank.

2. If this is not done, the only alternative is military action.
