These women from the Islamic Garden had choices - muslimas don't. If a woman wants to give up her freedom that is fine by me. But it is the ones that do not have that freedom of choice who suffer.

I am sure you treat all the females in your family with great respect, but it is well documented that many muslim women are treated very badly with no recourse to the law as they have in the west. And even in the west muslim communities cover for each other when bad things happen. Really, how many rape victims are jailed in the west? At least here they can report it without fear of being punished themselves. As for having to have four witnesses for proof - that utterly defies critical thinking. I think it was Aisha who remarked that she had seen no women suffer as much as muslim women.
