Rushdie is NOT a Muslim according to the Ulemas of Islam.

Reader comment on item: Salman Rushdie and British Backbone
in response to reader comment: DO NOT back down

Submitted by M. Walaith (United States), Jun 26, 2007 at 21:16

Calling Salman Rushdie a Muslim is an Insult to the Muslims. He is an Apostate-Murtad a product of UK culture. And has a Fatwa against him from many many ulemas/imams.

He is forbidden to enter any Muslim country of this world.

You in the West Raised him, gave him full protection and support and You can have him forever-n-forever.

We don't want him. Please keep him, Nobel Prize him, and Knighthood him as many times as you want.
