Poor politics of the Queen will NOT bring the two civilizations together

I am wondering if Queen Elizabeth gave the "knighthood" to Salman Rushdie in her right mind or does she just want to spark more fire between the Muslims and Christians/Jews?

Here is, whats called "tit for tat":
BBC reported last week...

"...a group of Pakistani Islamic scholars say they have awarded their highest honour to Saudi-born al-Qaeda leader Osama Bin Laden in reaction to Britain's knighthood for Salman Rushdie.
The Ulema Council said it had awarded Bin Laden the title of "Saifullah", or "the Sword of Allah".

Wise-up Ms UK-Queen and show some Brains instead of politics!!
