The problem is not interest but the excessive profit that people make from (usually poor )other people whether by way of high interest rates or taking income /profits from a transaction.To believe exploitation depends on form and not substance betrays a misunderstanding of God, who looks at the effect of the transaction not the form, just as he examines the heart not external appearances as Jesus taught)- read Matthew 5 for the revelation of the heart of God from Jesus- and measure yourself against those standards)
