I have spent a number of years working in Saudi Arabia, and I have also heard some horror stories concerning Filipinas, supposedly working as maids. I have also seen what can only be described as apartheid practiced in the living conditions depending purely on nationality. Of course they have the majority of the free worlds oil, and therefore get away with it.
