Reader comment on item: Saudis Import Slaves to America

Submitted by Ralph C. Whaley MD (United States), Jun 16, 2005 at 11:44

Saudi slavery in America is made possible by America's lack of moral confidence in the virtue of our system of govenment. Toleration of slavery under the idea of respect for the sovereignty of a tyrannical Islamic dictatorship's agents working in America is sabotaqging our own values. As Ayn Rand identified evil is impotent. It can only operate when enabled by the good. We should have no toleration in any sense for a tyrannical government or its agents. The solution is moral confidence and demands by Americans that our government prosecute these monsters.
