Reader comment on item: Saudis Import Slaves to America

Submitted by Azam Khan (Pakistan), Jul 17, 2007 at 02:55

Hi,

The saudis may bring along with them their maids to serve them, but when they leave those maids prefer to remain in the US. (maybe I am correct upto some extent)

SLAVERY AND SEX WITH SLAVES IN ISLAM

Although you do have the right in your country to express your views and comments on any subject you choose, but I may also remind you that in any religion to say something that can emotionaly hurt someones or a majority's feeling is not only forbidden but also very unethical in any society. Why not to choose any other topic rather then to get into the detail of who did what ?

I believe that if you say something about Jesus to hurt the feelings of christians or the Ram or Bhagwaan of the Hindu's then you will know what shall be the consiquences of doing so. Well the same way its better to avoid to hurt the feelings of muslims, whatever is expressed in the Holly Book Quran is very clear to understand, but not to translate in a negative manner. Why not try reading with a positive approach any book of any religion, because you may agree with me that all holly books are written for mankind to follow good things and not the bad things,

Wishing all readers the very best of readings,

Regards,

AZAM
