Thank you James for an actual insightful comment in a universe of misunderstandings. Forget Islam, look at the core beliefs of all religions, the maladies that beset people are based in the weaknesses of humanity, which are multiplied by a group (culture), religion in general tries to rectify this.

Now let's talk about Islam. The offenses committed by the defendants are contrary to the tenets of Islam, make blood curdle, and I cannot understand the depravity of said defendants. So Sudeep, in this case it is crystal clear where culture is and where religion cuts it off. The Arab tribes were in this state of idiocy before Islam came and banned all such nefarious activities. Look into histories of Islam.
