I have not read or seen about Imam Abdul Makin but if that is what he said then indeed he said something very much against Islam. A person would have to be sick to say that Islam promotes raping/killing non muslims. Islam in NO WAY says to kill anyone at all unless in regards to capital punishment which Islam does promote. Islam does say if someone murders for no reason (serial killers /rapists etc) then they should be punished accordingly (death by execution.

It seems extreme but I would say the world would be a much better place without killers/rapists running around ruining families and lives. Other than this Islam does NOT allow a person who to be killed or to kill. Islam does not promote war etc either as many people seem to be saying. Islam allows fighting as a last resort if muslims are being oppressed extremely then the people can fight BACK not just start fights just because someone is not muslim. If muslims are being oppressed or killed and are being stopped from worshipping God, only then Muslims can fight back. Even in the case of war, Muslims are NOT allowed to kll women or children or old people. Its a different thing that people don't act on Islam and instead make Islam out to be some bloodthirsty religion whereas it only teaches peace even till cases of extremity.

I would just like to make it clear, in Islam the life of every single person, regardless of gender, age, nationality or religion is worthy of respect. Islam does not promote killing or raping of anyone. It is a huge sin and a the punishment for killing another human being whether muslim or non muslim is the same - (death by execution). The arabic word rape refers to taking something wrongfully by force. It is now used exclusively to refer to transgression against the honor of women by force.

So, the punishment for rape in islam is stoning to death or hundred lashes and 1 year of banishment from the land. There is no place that says muslims have btter treatment for anything than non muslims. The punishment is the same for the murderer/rapist whether the victim was a muslim or non muslim, black, white, arab, asian etc etc....If still in doubt please read the following page....

That was to make it clear that Islam is not cruel and does not say anywhere that you should kill or rape other people. I mean that is so far against islam I cant imagine a person saying Islam promotes such a thing!!! Islam is so against the hurting of humanity whether in an emotional, physical or mental way.

Lastly, in regards to racism, I dont remember saying everyone is a racist. Some people are racists and some are not. Its an individual thing. I mentioned about america in reply to someone else mentioning other things about islam so I was upset about peopl writing mean things about islam when they know nothing about it except what they read in media so to retaliate I mentioned about slavery in america (which is not so now ofcourse). Islam has always taught black white arab non arab everyone is equal and Islam mentions men and women are equals but in their own different ways. Anyway, most religions teach good things ultimately, but then most people don't follow their religions properly so it is not the religion that is bad but the people! The majority of people who are religious believe in one God and worshipping him. In islam we believe in also believing in all the prophets from Adam, to Jesus to Muhammad who was the last prophet.

Whatever the case , the point is Islam promotes peace and love and does not in any way say you should kill or rape anyone just because they are not muslims. Every persons life has value in islam, regardless of age, gender, nationality and religion.

I always think I wont reply again but then someone always mentions something outrageous against Islam and I feel compelled to put the misconception right. So if Imam Abdul Makin did actually say all that wierd stuff about Islam, it is all lies
