Islamic slavery

Saudi Arabia, a country which abolished slavery in 1962 only because of Western pressure to do so, has not truly renounced the keeping of slaves. Now, domestics face a slave like existence with absolutley no recourse as official governmental agencies view things from - surprise surprise - the Saudi point of view. The concerns of Philipina or other non-Mulsim "maids" are simply of no importance to the authorities. I feel so sorry for these women from ther Phillipines who must leave their won families for years due to economic necessity to work for abusive and demanding Saudi masters.

Islamic slavery is in keeping with a Muslim world view that non-Muslims are subject to and should be under the authority of Muslims. In their countries Muslims place non-Muslims in a "dhimmi" or second class status- by law. They do the same to their own women whose are not equal to their male counterparts in law. In fact, Islam as an imperialist system has a whole series of rules and regulations for the conquered and for the non-Muslim. Abd do not forget that the Muslim slave trade began before the Western slave trade in Africa and continued afterwards up to the present time.

Muslims often say that slaves are treated better under Islam. Of course they forget to mention that
- Communities are destroyed in the procurement of salves. As Muslims didn't want males for slaves but wanted female sex and maid slaves and children the men were murdered in the capturing of the women and children.
-Male children were castrated so as to pose no threat when they grew into manhood.
-If a slave had a male child while in bondage that child was killed at birth.
-And of course slaves could not practice any of the beliefs or rituals from their culture.

That is Islam.

And that is still the view of Arabs towards non-Muslim Africans.

In Darfur we see the destruction of a Muslim society. Why? Because Darfurians' skin is too dark in color.

Islam is a religion that has codified racism- even to their own.
