Reader comment on item: Saudis Import Slaves to America

Submitted by um sasha (United States), Jan 6, 2007 at 21:33

When are we going to stop to be half blinded and always listen to one side of every story. I lived enough in the middle east, it is very common to have a maid at home at most of houses, and not necessarily that she is tortured or abused by any one. on the contrary she will go back to her countries with a saving money to support her for years and live in dignity.....give me abreak......, stop showing muslims or saudian as different kind of human beings whose feelings and emotions are created differently, Islam is a religion of mercy and equality.

if it happened to one maid ,it doesnt mean that it happens to every one...i have hundreds of stories about maids who sexually abused the children that they should be taking care of, a lot of maids who stole money, gold and other belongings of the people who trusted them with their home and kids.
