This is about affluent Saudi's not Islam/Muslims

Reader comment on item: Saudis Import Slaves to America

Submitted by Ammya (United States), Aug 29, 2011 at 22:02

To start, I will state that I have, myself, been the brunt of a wealthy Saudi's escapades. That said, I am forthright biased in the anti Saudi direction, and therefore, due to my bias, I find the whole religious banter of Muslim/Islam/Christian/Jew dogma and defenses that have being spewed out in response to this article, as totally missing the point. There was only one sentence in the entire article that used the word Islam, and it was a very weak sentence, a quote coming from a twisted Imam who receives great compensation from a Wahhabi mess of royals. His opinion doesn't count. His opinion is bought and paid for. This article is about those wealthy Saudi's who use their power to abuse others, (and pay off their Imam's to rewrite Islam into anything they want it to be).

This article is about how wealth destroys even the most sanctimonious, and how absolute power corrupts absolutely. This is not about Islam. I believe that all those royals and elitist Saudi's will continue to get away with what they do, and are most assuredly laughing at us, b/c we have totally gotten the spotlight off of them (the real true royal infidels) and onto a fight about religion which is exactly what they want. This is what the royals say: "Get the Westerners to blame Islam, and our own people to blame Wahhabi-ism, HA! Just get their minds off of us!" This is pure Saudi wealthy greed gone unaccounted. And the US government only brings to light those cases where someone calls, "Foul!" The US government knows exactly who, where, when and how much this goes on, and they say nothing, until some poor soul crawls out a window and runs crying to report it. Nothing will change until we all, yes we ALL, Christians, Muslims, and Jews alike admit that it is happening, admit that maybe our own country and our need for cheap gasoline cause us to look the other way, allow for Saudi planes to fly in and out bypassing customs, blame ourselves first, and then stand up and say, "MAKE IT STOP!"
