modern slavery in saudi arabia

Reader comment on item: Saudis Import Slaves to America

Submitted by farooq (Saudi Arabia), Nov 19, 2005 at 14:58

slavery is a part of saudi culture.. it happens every where in one way or other. Its called modren slavery. saudi especially love to enslave foreigners. they recruit foreign professionals from other countroes to fullfill their market needs which cannot be satisfied by their air-head youth. How ever these foreign workers can't do anything without a permission letter of their employer.. Let it be renting a appartment, or buying a car, applying for a driving license or any other civil work. Everything requires a permission of employeer which is more commonly known here as "kafeel"

America needs to use force to end modren slavery in saudi arabia rather than dropping bombs on iraq over a false reason. At least then war would be more justified and real liberation would be coming.
