Reader comment on item: Saudis Import Slaves to America

Submitted by Donald O (United States), Jun 20, 2005 at 21:06

I think this story would only get attention when a Natalie Holloway gets sold into 1 of these slavery scenarios. ... After all, cable news like Fox News spends 10 hours a day for the past 3 weeks covering 1 missing person [a young blond - with lot's of sexy pics]. But, I for one keep asking why? When there was a family slaughtered 10 miles away from Fox's studios doesn't that story get any coverage [or Hourly updates!] on the crime? Could it be they just weren't 'sexy' enough?. Those Egyptian kids smiling in their kindergarten pics weren't 'cute' enough for the american public to be concerned with? Look at the names in these stories Danial Pipes has brought to our attention - they're names without a face[too foreign to be concerned about]. Sure it's fun once a month to ask with a lot of promotion...'the Saudis, are they our friends?' but nothing will get done. The politicians are bought and sold like the greedy creeps they everyone suspects they really are behind the expensive suits. ...
