Response to Sultan

Mr Sultan , it does not matter how different muslims live or how much of sharia is followed in different muslim countries. There is one islam, the islam preached in quran and practised by Mohammed... . All the kind verses of Mecca you are trying to quote were abrogated by violent ayas of Madina. Only one fact you mentioned correctly, that you are an ordinary muslim who do not know much about this religion. I understand, most muslims are same way.

Mr Sultan how can islam be anything but violent when the only guranteed way of paradise is slaying and being slain for Allah in accordance to Quran? If you read the original biography of Mohammed you will understand it all. He made over 75 raids of peaceful communities and caravans , to get booty and captured women and needed fellow raiders to go on those raids. Lure of of share in the booty and captured women was not enough incentive for successful recruitment, there are men of consience in all ages. Mohammed had to sweeten the pot with, Allah's approval and guarantee of Paradise with houris and rivers of wine for the slayers and the slain. Quranic verses even threatened those who refused to go on these raids with hell fire.

So you see Mr. Sultan , all muslims who pray all their lives and go to Haj and give charity have to rot in grave until judgement day to find if they made it to paradise, whereas a murderer ...who slays and is slain for Allah goes to paradise right away. That is islam in nutshell, your and my religion of birth.
