Radical Muslims Have Reason to Gloat!

Reader comment on item: How Terrorism Obstructs Radical Islam

Submitted by John Randall Peacher (United States), Aug 29, 2005 at 18:03

Given the uprooting of Jews from Gaza, the land of the Biblical character Goliath, the ancestors of the little ruddy boy David, the soon to become King of Israel, chose to run instead of continue the fight. As if the Gaza retreat were not embarassing enough, (or it should have been) Prime Minister Sharon stated today that settlements will soon be uprooted in the West Bank (Judea and Samaria). ... What other end will this policy of appeasement lead?
Terrorism has worked thus far. The will of the strong, like the peace of the brave, are but words and phrases given the recent retreat in Israel and the pressure being placed upon Israel by her "friends." Maybe Prime Minister Sharon can invest in concrete, wood, bobwire, and stone building supplies. Might as well make a profit off of the whole process of the shuttering up of the only democracy in the Middle East.
