Reader comment on item: How Terrorism Obstructs Radical Islam

What will happen when islam spreads all over the world? Why ordinary muslims should desire this? There is not a uniform İslamic belief around the world. There are many sects. Also there is not a uniform Christian sect confronting it. Many İslamic countries may not have democracy, but they dont adopt sharia rules either. Lawful, political radical islamist leader (as you call) Tayyip Erdoğan first has to win a very bloody war (contrary to his lawfulness) in his own native country in favor of sharia before adopting it in the United States. So far the only thing he did is that he tripled the alchol taxes. And at this moment 90 percent of Turks are against sharia, and 97 percent sees Usame Bin Ladin as an evil. So it is too too early for you to see him as a threat. Yes there are some terrorists in the world. And they say that they are doing this for İslam.(actually they are fighting against USA and İsrael, but using İslam to gain greater support)

But when vast greater amount of Muslims dont accept this violence, how can you blame on them? All the terrorists are satans. I and many of us is saying this from deep of our hearts not to pursuade you for anything but because we directly suffer from terrorism ourselves. All countries must work against terrorism together. But you people dont even want to listen us. Before being muslim or jew or hindu we are all human beings. How can a developed western worlds people can think that %20 of the world population can be so violent .İn your country rape is far more common than ours.So can we say that most Christians are rapers or can we say in order to finish rape crime lets open war against christianity. İt is the same logic. And some of you are trying to show how Kuran is full of violence. (ı wont answer to these accusations because you people dont understand). İt doesnt matter what you understand from Kuran anyways. İnternational moral laws are easier to understand. No one can kill no one.(this is also what Kurans orders but ı know what you will say...)

From our point of view I strongly think that mr Bush is a very big threat for the world (including the Americans) and again he must be stopped by the Americans because other nations dont have the strength to do that. He destroyed Irak. There is a disaster there. İf you truly believe in democracy and free world than for a moment forget about how İslam is an evil and listen the voice of the world. Everybody ,all the world is against what you do there. And also İran is a very very dangerous country (far more terrible than Iraq) İf mr Bush decides to attack İran one day to stop their nuclear works (although ı am very against this) than really it will be the end of the world.I invite every body to not promote USA s gun and war industry and stand against oil policies .We want peace.
