Reader comment on item: How Terrorism Obstructs Radical Islam
in response to reader comment: islam is a peaceful religion

Submitted by John Bastile (Malaysia), Jan 8, 2006 at 06:34

Leigh,

Thank you for the reminder. I'm fully aware that some muslims have to lie in order to preserve their faith. However, many more actually believe in what they said because they themselves do not do their own research.

Muslims are not raised to be intellectuals. Since Islam cannot tolerate critics (critics are to be asassinated) and cannot tolerate apostates, Muslims know that the punishment is death, followed by eternal hellfire with torture from the master of hell, Allah. A s result, muslims are intellectually deficient.

Of course, there are intelligent people amongst muslims. They either apostasized (officially or secretly), tried to be secular or turned into mullahs and terrorists.

Apostacy is increasing. We have been gathering information that a large number of muslims are leaving Islam. It's natural. All you have to do is to begin reading the Quran and the Hadtihs. The muslims have made a fatal mistake. They begun to translate their holy books. If you noticed, the past muslims tried to conceal these secrets by proclaiming that Allah can only understand Arabic. Therefore, no other language is valid. The internet shines a light thru the darkness of Islam.

Several muslims tried to challenge the Sharia laws and attempted to secularize Islamic laws. Alas, they are often defeated unless they gain power first. I believe that Kemal Ataturk would be one of them.

We are lucky that the vast majority of muslims are safe as they are ignorant to the truth. They practise their 5 pillars and mind their own business. These fairy tale muslims are not a threat. They try to emulate the fairy-tale version of their Prophet. You know, he is most merciful, generous, kind and a loving husband. Our efforts are simple. We ask them to read the Quran and the Hadtihs. Most of them will leave Islam, at different levels.

The threat lies in the real Islamists. These people would have read the Quran cover to cover several times. These are dangerous people. If they want to emulate their Prophet, the real thing, then the free people of the world will be in danger. They will kill, cause terror and rape, as their prophet did. Sadly, intellectual and emotional persuasions will no longer work. ...
