We know that Hagar is an Egyptian. And Egypt came from Mizraim, and Mizraim from Ham. Genesis 10:6. The word "egypt" literally means 'the two Matsors". One Matsor was country of the Delta within the great wall of defence called "Shur"; the other Matsor was Egypt proper.

Isaiah 19:4-6 "And the Egyptians will I give over to the hand of a cruel lord; and a fierce king shall rule over them, says the Lord, the Lord of hosts. And the waters shall fail from the sea, and the river shall be wasted and dried up. And they shall turn the rivers far away; the "brooks" (Hebrew= Matzor) of defense shall be emptied and dried up, the reeds and flags shall wither."

And Isaiah 37:25 "I have digged, and drunk water; and with the sole of my feet have I dried up all the rivers of "besieged placed" (Hebrew = Matzor)

Both examples indicate Egypt. So we can conclude Hagar was from Ham, and therefore Ishmael was part Hamite, as are the Arabs today.
