We are told by several critics of Sen. Obama's books on his world views (as of this writing, he is still senator), that his preference would be towards his Muslim background if the circumstances of his political position made that situation necessary. His associations in America and around the world seem to indicate that would be his decision to be made when it comes to that time.

Other Muslims seem to think that his Christianity is not solid enough for him to make that transition back too difficult. Many Christians agree. We'll see.
