Names don't mean squat

Reader comment on item: Obama Would Fail Security Clearance
in response to reader comment: About the names.

Submitted by Keith Williams (United States), Nov 2, 2008 at 01:41

Hi,

I just wanted to comment that names don't mean squat. Christians, Jews, and Muslims have these names even Barak. Also, one of our finest Generals Omar Bradley for example to prove my point. There are many Catholics with names like Hussein, Omar, etc... some are Arab and non-Arab in ethnicity but are not Muslims. Do some research yourself before automatically labelling someone just because of their name. This is the 21st Century, i would have assumed that we had learned to reason a little better than this.
