How did Obama get the Dem nominee anyway?

I am curious if any of these parties do any background checks on their candidates for the office of:President of the United States of America to confirm elegibility? And why has Obama not allowed public access to his school records? It is a public office he is running for right? I smell a rat. Also have you noticed almost all the news and media coverage is PRO obama. Im really tired of censorship and liberal media opinions and one sided views all the time . Its just like pages from Animal Farm.
