"How edifying to learn that Obama would fail to get a security clearance. I assume this is the first time this sort of thing has happened?
What about discussions of the national healthcare crisis? the awesomely bulging budget? the loss of jobs? the global disdain for Bush and his doppelganger McCain? the financial collapse?
Are you kidding me with this red herring?"

It is clear from this comment that you do not comprehend the serious nature and responsibilities that accompany having access to highly classified information. I was thoroughly investigated in most aspects of my life before I was ever given access to sensitive information. Will Obama be likewise investigated? I think not. Double standards of course.

Being qualified for a very high level clearance IS a serious matter....no matter how much you wish to gloss over it.
