Reader comment on item: Obama Would Fail Security Clearance
in response to reader comment: A Reaction of Dismay

Reading these post is truly amazing. The one thing that's clear is that Barack Obama is truly on your minds and you are scared ... How ridiculous. One man and you can't sleep, you can't eat and you trimble in fear. And the world will cease and the country will fall, all behind one man. Give me a break. What a bunch of scary, paranoid, racist, pragmatic and fearful weak asses. This is the first presidential candidate that has managed to appeal and cross all racial, ethnic, religious and economic lines and he's not white. He's not the "establishment" as you know it. He's not the picture of leadership you're used to. It's easy to call him everything. You want to present a good argument, but really, much of what is presented is based on hear say and falsified information. You speak of character by association towards Obama, but totally ignore that McCain showed direct lack of character by constantly cheating on his wife, walking out on her when she became disabled; just when she needed him the most. Cindy was the other woman that has become his wife. His stating "I take full responsiblity for the break up of my marriage' does not illiminate that he did such a vile thing towards his wife. Yeah, he put his country first and then came home and dumped his disabled wife who chose not to let him know about her condition because she did not want to worry him while he was in captivity. Unfortunately, he did not show the same consideration for her and neither did our sweet Ms. Cindy. When they were screwing around behind his wife's back, both he and Cindy were showing real character. His actions speak directly to his character, while Obama character is being question by association.

Now lets talk about judgement. McCain has shown a repeated lack of good judgement. He's chosen a running mate that lacks intellectual curiosity, cannot tell you about any major supreme court decisions besides Rowe vs Wade and who has shown a compromising character herself. Yeah, I'm sure all governor's give their spouses access to question their staff about business matters and access to use their office. His choice of Palin was political and shows that he is willing to compromise the country, and you're worried about Barack Obama and Muslims. If Mccain were to croak over witin a year of the presidency, Sara Palin is ill prepared to deal being the Commander and Chief. She could not even give Katie Couric intelligent answers during her interview because she lacks the intellectual prowess needed to be commander in chief. Being a Governor of a sparsely populated state that is in many ways, insulated from the rest of the country, is not like being the President of the United States. Give me a break.
