I don't ever need the time to 'think over". It's just something he gave me.

I am not. He is "I AM". God never personally identified himself to me with a "label" on initial contact at conversion. That was a part of the beauty of the whole moment. God set an ambush through a preacher, I thought I could "handle".

Again, that preacher opened my mind and heart just a crack. Fifteen minutes later I was on the road heading back home. The thought came into my mind something like this: "This is amazing. Who would ever have thought? Really? There is just a chance that there is something supernatural out there (I had believed in nothing - you die, go poof, and it's over)." For the first time in my life, my closed mind & heart opened for a moment. That is sometimes all God waits for.

His identification came with the following thought that appeared in my soul, heart, spirit, mind; with joy, great peace of mind and in he presence of "love" the thought came that, "I'm going to have to get a Bible!" Now where did that thought come from? I had always viewed all religious books with disgust. I was to clueless at the time to know what had come into me. I just experienced it. The "thought" to get a Bible was implanted, as I eventually came to understand it, and then much else, and many other things.

God, or whatever you want to call him, connected for me the ideology to plunge into. I had no idea that I was even "being directed". The "thought" and "moment" were powerful, awesome, and mind blowing.

I became thoroughly in tune to not just what the Bible said. The experience had left me with a hunger that was so deeply implanted to find this supernatural force that had caused it. The direction (Bible) was his and not of my choosing. As always, we can choose to take whatever moment and do with it whatever we want. God's great gift is free choice. Only from free choice will you (God or us) get true value in any human or god.

Forcing a human with any means of threat or action - torture, murder, rape or any other means of force is totaly repugnant to God. Force is what humans resort to. The greatest value is found in "free willingness" to give everything to walk with God's truth, righteousness, moral integrity - you can fill out the list for yourself. In the end, we realize that it is buying into, also, his message of sacrifice, both His, and that which has to follow from us. If you have those qualities God is looking for and represents with absolute perfection within himself, then you know the "list".

It is never just an intellectual game. He can play that and win with ease. The focal point is on much else.

I was drawn into the Bible. It never was an original thought of my own. After very intense investigation over years and then decades, I found ultimate truth, righteousness, love - the whole ball of wax, the whole enchilada - call it what you want.

You "know of" the Bible. You do not know it. I know much of the Quran and found it so repugnant in view of how it distorted God's truth, that I couldn't go on. I have read much since then as my sense of and love for, truth, allowed. My deep feelings for both books have never changed one dot. All instincts and truth have pointed irrevocably towards the Bible and the God therein. The Quran has taken from Jesus words, which existed long before Muhhamed, and applied the deceptions that lead man off course. The idea is to reel in men with fragments of Jesus truth and then deceive its truth with Satan's deceptions.

God has absolute power over any evil force. When he wants his will done and absolute truth to shine forth, then it does.
