Obama's security clearance

Reader comment on item: Obama Would Fail Security Clearance
in response to reader comment: BO Security Clearance

Submitted by Sue Jones (United States), Oct 23, 2008 at 23:57

Ironically, just minutes before finding this article, I sent the following to my local newspaper Letters to the Editor. Barrack Obama could NOT pass the U.S. Gov't security clearance system. This is so unbelieveable.

This week in the mail I received a form from the VA Hospital in Syracuse, NY. The VA is conducting a background check on my friend to qualify her to be a Patient Service Assistant. One of the questions was if I knew of anything in this friend's background of "questionable character" that should preclude her from holding this position.

What struck me while filling out this questionnaire was that if Barrack Obama was applying for this position, I'm quite certain he would NOT be able to obtain a security clearance by our Government for ANY position because of his nefarious associations with convicted felon Anthony Rezko, admitted terrorist William Ayers, and close personal friend "Rev" Jeremiah Wright yet he is qualified to be President. Our Patient Service Assistants for the Veterans Administration are apparently held to a MUCH higher standard than the President of our United States. God help us!
