Israel is Settled Exactly Where the LORD Her Almighty God Has Said They Belong - Clue..It is Not EgyptReader comment on item: A Rapid and Harsh Turn against Israel Submitted by M. Tovey (United States), Jun 18, 2009 at 17:40 In pursuing this thing further, it is necessary in the context of the premise presented here to understand that the Deity who made the promise of the land to Abraham is indeed not the deity that would take the land from Israel and give it to the 'Palestinian.' Further, you are correct in making the assertion that the god you acknowledge from the 'Palestinian' perspective is not the Almighty God that watches over Israel, and is the LORD that this writer acknowledges is the Almighty God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob (Israel). Neither is there agreement that the Almighty God of Israel promised any other land to the people Israel except the land of which currently they are in partial possession. Abraham was not promised Egypt, but he was in the land that would be later known as Israel when he was visited by the LORD Almighty God Who made that promise known. Now, we have prima fascia evidence that Israel is where she belongs, and that her future as possessor and primary resident in the land promised to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob (Israel – emphasis stressed here), is found in the fact of completed prophecy in the Hebrew Holy Bible, and not that of the Islamic prophet. For if the otherwise were true (and this could be attributed to a perception of the strength of a deity), then Islam would still rule in Jerusalem, and we all know that is no longer the case. Israel is in the land because that is where her LORD has dictated her to be, and not where some other god wishes Israel would be. Finally, it is still incorrect thinking that Israel will be dispossessed and sent to Egypt against the Word of her LORD, for the Scripture says, 'I have called my Son from out of Egypt;' and Yeshua HaMaschiach (Jesus Christ) fulfilled that prophecy some two thousand years ago, which means they are not going back.Note: Opinions expressed in comments are those of the authors alone and not necessarily those of Daniel Pipes.
