The world, and the US, does not understand Israel. Here is the simple reality: what the world needs is not what Israel needs! Why is it so difficult to understand? Cheap strategies like dividing the Israeli government, and rule, will not give any results but the contrary. I would tell the US not to temper with Netanyahu´s government in the first place. Secondly, and most importantly, I would say that the resistance of the Israelis themselves towards an unfortunate agreement resulting from being pressured will be the turning point for Israel; the turning point being that Israel putting down both its feet and saying a massive No! That would cost a lot for both parts, Israel and the US., yes! Arab loyalty is always subject to political variables. Israeli loyalty has been compact until now. If it breaks into pieces it will not be mended. Israel must come out of age before it can come out of these dire straits.
