It HAS happened in AmericaReader comment on item: A Rapid and Harsh Turn against Israel Submitted by Martin Horan (United Kingdom), Jun 7, 2009 at 17:46 Thinking people here in Britain *and America and elsewhere) were baffled as to why some American voters could possibly believe that Barak Hussain Obama was not a Moslem. Maybe they thought his name was that of a Catholic, Protestant, Jew, Hindu or Buddhist! Whatever... we all know now that he is pro-Islam. America's history, as Europe's, is far from being Islamic. In fact, Europe has warred with Islam throughout history. But many American voters knew better than history. Well, after his visit to Egypt they can no longer bury their heads in the sand. Obama espoused change and now America has gotten change. He is an open friend of the religion which is an open enemy of democracy and every other religion. If Americans would just read the Koran they would see that for themselves. What a pity they didn't read it before they voted for Obama. But would they have heeded anyway? You'd have thought 9/11 would have spelled out the aims of Islam loudly and clearly enough without having to read the Koran. It didn't. Sad, but we will now have to watch our old friend and ally reap the curses all those nations have which opened the door to Islam. Christianity made America. It gave the world democracy. Now we are watching the demise of all three. Note: Opinions expressed in comments are those of the authors alone and not necessarily those of Daniel Pipes. Original writing only, please.
