Balance Requires Two Parts

Reader comment on item: A Rapid and Harsh Turn against Israel
in response to reader comment: Balance

Is it balance to listen to the cry for Israel's destruction by people on all sides, and from within and not wonder when someone will say enough? Is it balance for Israel to be put under pressure that after all the intifadas, kassam/katyushka and other attacks that it must concede historically Jewish lands as an offering for world peace while being told there is no legitimate right for Israel to exist from within her supposed territorial partner's leadership?

Balance requires two parts, something missing from Israel's original re-establishment to today's need for Israel's defense form external and internal belligerence of her enemies. Even with moderation being requested from those who may not be asking for Israel's blood to seal a deal, the pressure is still there to concede that which is necessary for Israel's security, something her blood oath enemies are not willing to concede, neither is protection from them being offered.

Religious extremism aside, it is more than religion that gives Israel her destiny to the land, that of a history being denied for the lack of understanding how it is Israel was able to be reinstated by her Almighty God in spite of all her obstacles. Argue all one wants to deny that heritage: it is still a fact on the ground that Israel has her place in history and in the land, in spite of men's debates of a human injustice needing adjudication; yet that has been supplied by Israel's Sovereign Judge and Almighty God, no matter who's religion tries to take that away.
