THE REAL ISSUE OF THE WEST BANK IS NOT BEING ADDRESSED

Reader comment on item: A Rapid and Harsh Turn against Israel

Obama is not addressing the most important and real issue of Judea and Samaria , the so-called West Bank, which is still ownerless from the legal point of view. Israel's military operation in 1967 against Jordan was triggered by Jordan's hostilities (shelling of West Jerusalem, etc), and as self-defense, was legal within the frame of international law. The new cease fire lines brought Judea and Samaria-- the so-called West Bank--under Israel's military and later civil administration. This area is administered territory.

If the West Bank was ever occupied illegally, it was done so by Trans-Jordan in 1948.

Source: Dr. Asher Eder, Islam-Israel Fellowship, Root & Branch Assoc.) Enough with pressure on Israel. Israel has given up for years only to be attacked more and more while the world stays quiet and allows it. No more! The Arabs need to give up on their dream of destroying Israel and live peace. It takes more than words.
