Israel doesn't seek for Peace!

Reader comment on item: A Rapid and Harsh Turn against Israel

Submitted by Karam H AL-Hashmi (Egypt), Jun 18, 2009 at 09:57

I was astonished and disappointed by the speech made by Israel P.M recently and was expecting a more balanced and fair speech but he intentionaly undermined the whole peace process and asked for W A R !

I am not going to provide a long comment on his speech as it neglected peace with the Palestinians and Arabs and brought us to ground zero, but I am going to say it in short, and what I say most of the time do happen!

Isreal has only two years to make up its mind either to go for final peace process or be ready for a new term of large war with the Palestinians and the Arabs as well with muslims around the world?!

We waited for more than 60 years to realize peace with Isreal and we are still extending our hands, Israel would be more benefited from a stable and final peace with us and with 58 Arab and Muslim countries which are one third of the world's communty, or be ready for a W A R!

There is no more than two choices and Isreal has to choose one, either to go for a final peace settlement in accordance with the many initiatives and the UN resolutions and most recently the Arab peace initiative which has been submitted by the Custodian of the Two Holly Mosques, King Abndullah Ben Abdul Aziz AL-Saud, or choose a destructive war which would be final between both of us?!!!

We can not wait more than we have already waited and as such hold America and the Western European countries and the world community the whole responsiblity for reaching to such a catastrophic result?!
