As one reads through the transcript of the Cairo pontification of the American president, one cannot help but feel that Dr. Pipes' assessment does not go far enough to prepare the world for the havoc to be unleashed for a faithless and misdirected understanding of what it will take to gain peace in the Middle East. In making the incorrect statement that the 'Palestinian' people are entitled to the land possessed by Israel, contradictory to the insinuation of being a student of history, ignorance of the true historical circumstance seems evident.

A statement that both side should be aware and conciliatory of the other's contention for the land falls on deaf radical Islamists ears, and these are the ones needing to hear the true message. All others, including the American administration should heed the message as well. Leave Israel to her Almighty God and His promises for her security, or suffer the consequences for meddling.
