Walk the walk but it's all talkReader comment on item: A Rapid and Harsh Turn against Israel Submitted by BA (United States), Jun 11, 2009 at 12:07 >>Submitted by Abdulkarim Al-Habsi (Oman), Jun 8, 2009 at 09:24 This is from an Arab perspective. We will wait and see if Barak Obama will walk the talk on the Israeli occupation of the west bank, untill then, it is all talk.<< President Obama, unfortunately, will try to walk the walk. He listens a lot to the Saudis for some reason that only God knows. The good news is that the Arabs will mess things up as they did in the past regardless of Obama walking the walk or talking the talk. So to those who were frightened by the speech in Cairo, relax and sooner or later Hamas and Fatah will fight each other viciously. Until then, Israel should proceed cautiously with Obama in principal but not in the details until 2010 when the President lose some momentum and support from the public and Congress. Time taught us that the worst enemies to the Arabs are the Arabs themselves. Note: Opinions expressed in comments are those of the authors alone and not necessarily those of Daniel Pipes.
