Gosh - you are in a bad place (mentally, I mean). How far in history do you want to go - back to the 600's when the Arabs swarmed out of Arabia and invaded the mediterranean coastal areas which were Christian, Judaiic, animist and pagan lands ,- and then Hindu India and central Europe. Don't fancy living as a "dhimmi" then or now. Even under the new "Islamic Charter of Human Rights" which all refer back to Sharia law.

Where does it stop? It is your religion that states "war is deceit" and practises taqiyah if it aids your cause! And still lslam hurts itself with continuing internecine strife whilst we have long gotten over that.

We are now in 2007 and one cannot keep living in the past to excuse or blame. We are here to make the world a better place for our children , in spite of historical mistakes and misunderstandings.

Perhaps if there were more Islamic books translated into English it would help - but what you are saying is that we cannot properly understand your beliefs anyway because we cannot read Arabic and thus we miss the nuances. And the ones translated into English don't really relate to your particular sect. Don't you think that is a bit exclusive and a tad patronising?

How many Muslims, apart from the clerics, actually speak Arabic these days,in say, Malaysia, Pakistan, Morocco or other non-Arabic countries? Or in the countries that cannot even educate their children but send them out to work at five to weave carpets to help family finances? Do they have the chance to fully understand their religion?

However, back to topic. If indeed Prince Charles had a penchant for Islam, he would have to think very hard about reverting. As a Muslim, living in Saudi , as you know, he and his present wife would have been stoned to death long ago. Or perhaps just flogged seeing as they are Royals. The male Saudi Royals seem to conveniently forget their religious heritage on their many overseas trips. The word that comes to mind is 'hypocrites' - that includes Charles.

Fortunately for Charles, he is in England where he can peddle any old philosophy or behave in any odious manner in the knowledge that he is fully protected by the Universal Charter of Human Rights and good old British democracy. And his Mum will even give the King of Saudi Arabia a 'cuppa' because he and his family are so 'naice'!

And NZ might become a state of Australia!
