Dear sister Debbie

You are right to say let's understand and respect each others religions and I will add instead of looking at the difference lets turn attention to the similarities and lets try and come to common terms between us and you.. As the Quran says "There is no compulsion in religion, Truth stands out clear from error " it states, meaning that people should not be compelled to change their faith. Elsewhere it states, "To you, your religion; to me mine." Respect for religious values and justice is at the Quran's core.

I was not trying to impose my religion on any body I was just trying to answer somebody from that site who was trying to belittle Islam by writting the same out of contex verse which you mention under the title" lets understand and respect each others religions before we make comments-response to esan"

Sister we Muslim believe in Jesus(Peace be upon him) and if a Muslim do not believe in him he is not a Muslim. Muslim regard him as one of God's prophet and agree with Christians that he is the promised Messiah, where as Jews reject him as an imposter. Muslims believe in Jesus and the revelation given to him and believe in many other Biblical prophets and their revelations.

Say: we believe in Allah and that which is revealed to us; we believe in what was revealed to Abraham, Ishmael, Isaac, Jacob and the tribes; to Moses and Jesus and the other prophets, We make no distinction between any of them, and to God we have surrendered ourselves. Quran Sura 2, The Cow, verse 136. i.e. in full submission and obedience.

Muslims believe that Adam was created without a father and mother We also believe that Jesus(Peace be upon him) was born miraculously without a father which many modern day Christian do not believe. The Quran says

"The similitude of Jesus before God is as that of Adam; He created him from dust, then said to him: 'Be.' And he was." (Quran 3:59) We believe he spoke and defended his mother when he was in the cradle by God's leave, we believe he cures those born blind and the lepers by God's leave. and brought the dead into life, by God's leave.

The Quran Has even a Chapter called Mary the mother of Jesus(Peace be upon him) And there is no other religious books on the face of this earth which glorified Jesus(Peace be upon him)

Please Sister put aside all preconceived notions, and open your heart…. Read the last version of God's revelation the Quran, do not let others judge or make a decision for you and remember you do not have to convert just for knowledge.
